I have suffered with a Candida overgrowth/leaky gut syndrome which has manifested into vaginal dryness. I have symptoms of dryness, vaginal odor, irritation, tears that do not heal properly; thrush, low libido, and I genuinely feel discomfort all day every day this has been happening for 8+ years. I am currently on a strict anti-Candida diet, taking probiotics & Antifungal, practicing holistic therapies everyday and tried every vaginal cream under the sun. I have been wanting to speak to a professional about this for quite sometime. I have seen my GP over these years and they tell me my vagina looks healthy and I ‘just have thrush’. I am thinking it’s linked to low estrogen. But I have seen estrogen causes Candida to grow, so I am all a bit confused. Do you think you would be able to help me please.
