Dear Dr Yong, My gynaecologist Dr Shirley Bond who practiced in Harley Street and from home at 54 Harbut Road in London has retired without alerting me in good time and I need to find a Dr who can follow me up and prescribe my medication. I have been on a compounded Bioidentical hormone called Biest 8 mg ( Estradiol 1.6mg / Estriol 6.4 mg) for many years and which was prescribed by Dr Bond and dispensed by the London Specialist Pharmacy. I am on a very low dose as each lozenge is cut in 4. I am also taking progesterone 3 weeks out of 4 as a cream rubbed into the skin. I would like to carry on this regimen as it suits me very well. I have just had a regular mammogram with the NHS which came back normal. I also have regular bone scans which so far are normal. My BP is normal and all my blood work taken few months ago is normal. I would like to book an appointment with you to get my prescription and would bring you all my results. When I asked for a Dr recommendation The London Specialist Pharmacy suggested to contact you. I am enclosing a picture of my medication which has now runout. I am worried I may develop hot flashes and unpleasant symptoms so would like to book an appointment as soon as possible. Can you please advise me of your fee for a consultation with a prescription for my medication. I am a healthy 60 years old who works as a senior midwife at West Middlesex Hospital and been able to cope with the pressure thanks to this medication!
