Understanding Sun Damage
Like with many things in life, sun exposure can be good for you and your skin in moderation, but overexposure and improper protection can lead to negative long-term effects.
Health and well-being rely on sunlight as a way to generate vitamin D, which prevents disease, promotes good mental health, lowers blood pressure and supports bone health. Sun damage, on the other hand, characterised by wrinkles, age spots and uneven skin tone is the aftermath of excessive time spent in the sun over many years.
