What is Rosacea?
Rosacea is a long-term, chronic, inflammatory skin condition. We know that 1 in 5 people experience some form of rosacea and it is most common in fairer skinned women aged between 30 and 50. Rosacea presents itself in various forms but most commonly as persistent facial redness, particularly on the cheeks, nose, chin and forehead. Symptoms can also include visible blood vessels, flushing, stinging sensations and small red spots/bumps.
It’s important to remember that rosacea can manifest itself in various ways. Symptoms will differ from person to person and there is no one size fits all when it comes to this skin condition.
