<p><strong>Unsuitable candidates</strong></p> <p>The procedure is not suitable for all. Obese patients are advised to lose weight in the first instance because breast size will reduce with weight loss.</p> <p>Candidates who have lost a lot of weight, or have sagging skin due to breastfeeding, are often not suitable as the excess skin may require surgical removal. The fat cells are removed during the procedure and do not return but factors like menopause can cause breast growth at a later stage - something patients should be aware of.</p>
