Peels Not to Be Used In

<li>Pregnant or breastfeeding women</li>
<li>Those with an allergy to aspirin</li>
<li>Those with active herpes (cold sores) or infected lesions</li>
<li>If you are using Roaccutane you will be advised to stop usage 3 months prior to treatment in order to achieve the desired results.</li>

Reported Side Effects
<ul>
<li>You may feel a slight stinging or tingling sensation as the peel is applied which will subside after just a few seconds as the area numbs a little. A cool fan may be provided to aid comfort.</li>
<li>Expect some redness post-treatment, like a sunburn, which is temporary and normal, and the skin may also be slightly swollen and may itch for a few days following treatment. Your skin will slough off in thin sheets of epidermal skin that begin around day three and generally are completed by day six or seven. The use of at-home products and moisturisers will help with skin hydration. Make-up may be applied again after day 2. You still will feel sensitive for about a week. Sun exposure should be avoided.</li>
