<p>I use Smartxide DOT fractional CO2 laser in my clinic for this procedure. Local anaesthetic cream is applied to the eyelids and skin around the eyes to numb it. Local anaesthetic eye drops are used before placing metal shields to protect the eyes. Laser beam is then used all over the eyelids and skin around the eyes.</p> <p>There is immediate visible skin tightening and redness like a mild sun burn. This is followed by 2-3 days of mild redness and dryness in the treated area; one can use make up and usually return to normal activities in 3 days time.</p>
