Hello Interloper!

If you aren’t sure what products are better than relying on a harsh soap or water, here are my top make-up removal tips to help make your skincare regime a ‘treat’ (rather than a horror story) this Autumn:
CLEANSE: Our skin is unique, and there isn’t a ‘one size fits all’ cleanser out there, unfortunately! For this reason, it is important that you choose an appropriate cleanser for your skin type – some can be quite harsh and dry out your skin, so you may find a sensitive brand works better as a cleanser for you.
TAKE CARE OF YOUR EYES: Use a dedicated eye make-up remover to clear dirt and product away from the delicate eye area. Cleanse gently, using a circular motion, and don’t pull at the skin – the eyes are so easily irritated, and will end up looking puffy and tired if you vigorously rub them to remove heavy make-up. It’s always best to use a moisturiser specifically formulated for this area too to ensure that you see the best results.
MOISTURISE: Finish your skincare routine by massaging moisturizer into your face. A good moisturiser will help to restore the skin’s protective layer after gentle cleansing and can help to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. If your skin has additional requirements, the addition of serum into your daily skincare routine could also be beneficial.
