There are a number of things that can be done to improve the appearance of dark, hollow-looking tear troughs. First of all, make sure you’re doing the obvious – getting enough sleep.
Lack of sleep can increase the blood supply to your skin, as your body tries to give you a boost of energy.
As the skin under your eyes is particularly thin, this can make it look like you have dark circles under your eyes – which can worsen the appearance of sunken tear troughs.
Staying hydrated is also a vital part of any good skincare regime – and that means drinking enough water as well as moisturising your skin with a nourishing moisturiser.
