Dr Paul Myers

Paul Myers was educated at St.Mary's Hospital MedicalSchool, (University of London), and qualified in 1975. He studied Biophysics and gained a First Class honours degree in 1972, after being awarded the Max Bonn Medal for physiology. After pre-registration house jobs at St.Mary’s he followed a career combining general practice and dermatology, gaining the MRCGP in 1980 and being awarded a fellowship to the RCGP in 1993.

Dr Myers has had original medical research covering a wide range of clinical areas published in numerous peer reviewed journals including The British Medical Journal, Journal of Royal Society of Medicine, Modern Medicine, The Physician, The Practitioner, Update, Education For General Practice, Family Practice, Health Service Journal, British Journal of General Practice and Education For Health. 

He has authored and contributed to a number of medical textbooks including 'Laboratory Medicine in Primary Care', 'The Home Medical Encyclopaedia' and 'Practical Family Health'. He has specialised in skin problems over the last 15 years, and over the last three years has received training in cosmetic dermatology in Washington, Sydney, Dublin and London.
